Note from Gini:
In July 2000, Mitch Menschel, Webmaster-Extraordinaire, shared some very useful JavaScript.

If you insert this JavaScript (exactly as formatted and aligned) after your HEAD ON tag and before your TITLE ON tag near the start of your document, you will display the following message on the viewer's every time s/he tries to right-click and save one of your images on that Webpage.

"Sorry, that function is disabled. Permission must be obtained to copy anything from this Website."

Note: To test the JavaScript for yourself, try right-clicking on the image below.

To access this JavaScript...
Note: In the steps below I have substituted [ ] symbols below for < > symbols so the actual code would display in the steps:

- Click VIEW-PAGE SOURCE (or VIEW-SOURCE if using Internet Explorer)
- Highlight the code near the top of the page, starting with [SCRIPT LANGUAGE=JavaScript] and ending with [/SCRIPT]
- Click CTRL+C to copy this to your clipboard
- Open the code for the Webpage you want to insert it into into a text editor such as Notepad
- Click beneath the HEAD ON tag (but before the TITLE ON tag)
- Click EDIT-PASTE
- Save and test it
